Learn the basics of blueprint reading focused on a manufacturing environment. Understand the scope and extent of standard drawing practice.

Interpret drawing lines, views, features and tolerance levels. Be able to interpret views and sections. Identify basic part characteristics from the

views shown. Identify the various types of lines used on blueprints. Define and interpret tolerances and critical dimensions. Understand types of

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is the symbolic language used in engineering and manufacturing drawings. You will study basic

tolerances and allowances, modern geometric engineering standards, geometric symbol characteristics, form tolerances, datum points and
