wow! what an amazing october!

Last night was such a humbling experience. It was such an honor to be recognized at the 19th Annual Greater Waterbury Malcolm Baldridge Awards Ceremony as the Leadership award recipient. It really makes me reflect on how important community is for a small business. The leadership role I have played in the Waterbury community would not be possible without the support from our great management team, all our team members at Traver IDC and the entire community. So thank you so much.

This month has been a particularly exciting month. With this award ceremony, the upcoming 75th Anniversary Celebration of Traver IDC and the nomination as a finalist for the 2013 Hartford Business Journal’s Family Business Awards later this month, I have began to think about how I got here. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to follow in my Grandfather’s and my Father’s footsteps to make both Traver IDC and myself a leader in the community.

I cannot believe the company is celebrating 75 years. This is truly remarkable. I am so thankful for every single person that works at Traver IDC and am very excited to celebrate next week with all of our team members, customers, vendors, and entire community. I hope you all are able to attend this celebration next week on October 9th from 12-6pm.
