Rep. Noujaim Attends Traver IDC 75th Celebration

Rep. Selim Noujaim joined the Traver family, their staff and other local and state dignitaries for a ribbon cutting and celebration of 75 years in business for Waterbury’s Traver IDC.

Traver IDC, a third generation business that does “everything electrical” was founded in 1938 as a motor repair shop by Al Traver Sr. The company has since expanded to further specialize in electrical contracting, product sales, engineering services, and energy conservation projects, which all complement the original motor repair department. The business remains family owned and operated.

Traver IDC marked this special anniversary with a celebration on October 9th from 12-6 PM with food, beverages and plant tours throughout the afternoon. There were also informational tables highlighting products and services; raffles; and special offers available that day.
